About Us

Deb and Pete Delaforce developed the Miles Outdoors  brand from a passion of fishing spanning over several years.  With their current business Miles 4×4 & Outdoors, Deb and Pete were already established with a retail shop selling a range of fishing tackle and accessories in the Western Downs Region.

The Miles Outdoors logo was developed and the name was introduced.

Peter has over 30 years experience in manufacturing fishing tackle and accessories and what was once a hobby has now turned into a large part of the business.  Pete spent the majority of his childhood in Wynnum, spending weekends fishing the bay and beaches around South East QLD.

Now settled and living in the Western Downs town of Miles, Peter spends most of his time between running his mechanical and outdoors business along with the local Miles fishing club. 

The Miles Outdoors team currently offer clothing and apparel design and sales, aluminum rod holders and products, alloy boat repairs and fit outs, specialized tackle manufacturing and wholesale and retail opportunities.

Deb and Pete are building on their brand and introducing guided tours, fishing accessories, apparel and event management.
